San Paulo favorites, Blood Shake, are back with their second original single on DJs Are Not Rockstars. This time, collaborating with all female Brazilian MC group Sapabonde in Brasilia, “Maria Passivona,” brings a fusion of big tropical beats, house music and a big bass-line, to this Baile Funk anthem. “We’ve always been big fans and this remix by DJ Barletta, left us with aching legs from dancing and jumping, and we decided to have only one official remix,” says Blood Shake.

We are kicking off the summer with two of our favorite artists, Zoo Brazil better known as John Andersson, and Princess Superstar coming together for one hot track!  In the last 22 years John has steadily carved out a reputation for himself as one of dance music’s most innovative and respected producers and with a back catalogue of more than a hundred singles under such monikers as Laid, Cuba Computers, Nars, The Kelly Project, The Wiggs and Outcold.

From a career spanning 15 years, Princess has recorded 6 astonishing albums & has had numerous collaborations with amazing musicians and producers of such musical variety that few can rival. To name a few: Kool Keith, Prince Paul of De La Soul, Chilly Gonzales, The Prodigy. Stuart Price, Armand Van Helden, Moby, and more.  We love this collaboration! Remixes are forthcoming.
